This morning I had my first ever newborn session. Sure, I've taken tons of baby photos thru the years including my own children, but this was a 'real' session. Miss M was so well behaved, she did not even cry once. Full of smiles and ever so patient with mom, sister and I helping to pose her gently. Even got a few grins from her.  I learned a lot from this session including how much I adore using Natural Light versus flash lighting. Most of the photos in this session were taken without a flash!

Big sister E was a great help and equally as delightful and very helpful. It was a wonderful session and a great one to learn on. I hope to do some more newborn sessions in the future but in the meantime I look forward to reading and learning about newborn phootgraphy techniques and safety, the most important part.
